Katie is a people-first, purpose-driven leader and operational expert, with a passion and proven aptitude for unlocking the potential of employees and brands across industries. She brings a unique blend of strategic business acumen, analytical skills and operational know-how to her role as Co-President/Owner at MacKenzie Corporation, a second-generation family business that provides consumer insights and consulting services to clients across diverse industries.
In her role at MacKenzie, Katie heads the operational and administrative direction for the company, working to mirror MacKenzie’s outward mission internally by improving internal processes, strengthening company culture and promoting employee engagement. An eternal optimist and aspiring futurist, I have an undeniable knack for bringing people together and inspiring teams and companies alike to reach their full potential.
Katie joined the family business in 2008 and took co-ownership of the company in 2012. Through this transition of leadership, Katie has worked to redefine MacKenzie’s core company values and lead a full-scale corporate culture shift that improved collaboration and engagement, better positioning the employees for success and in turn, placing the company on the path for growth. Prior to joining the family at MacKenzie, Katie was Executive Vice President at Pacific Partners, where she directed corporate meetings, incentives and events, and played a significant role in strategic direction and business development for the company.
Outside of the office, Katie is passionate about giving back to the community and is an avid nature lover. She currently serves on the board of trustees for the Orange County Ronald McDonald House (OCRMH) as well as The Bloom Foundation. When she is not volunteering her time fundraising for the OCRMH expansion, you will find her out on the trails hiking, mountain biking or trail running. Katie is a proud mom to 2 daughters and 1 spunky Pitbull.
