Emily Haenselman is a director of education with Truist Wealth’s Center of Family Legacy. Emily utilizes her skills to educate the next generation by developing and delivering a variety of education programs that focus on preparing next generation family members for various roles and transitions that occur over a lifetime. She works one-on-one with family members and also participates in multi-generational family meetings on a broad array of topics such as financial education, family communication and career development. Emily has over 15 years of trust and estate planning and administration experience, and is a licensed attorney in Virginia, California, and the District of Columbia. She is a native of Denver, Colorado. She earned her B.A. from Marymount Manhattan College, and her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver. Emily is a member of the Virginia State Bar, Trusts and Estates Section, and the Estate Planning Counsel of Richmond. Emily lives in Richmond, Virginia, and in her free time enjoys skiing, yoga, hiking and spending time with her family.
